Questions about a guide, a correction to make, or a stretch of Budapest we have not covered properly yet — this is the place. Messages go straight to the person who writes the site, and most get a reply within two or three working days.

    What gets a fast answer

    • Corrections. A price that has gone up, a bath that has changed its opening hours, a restaurant that has closed. These are the most useful messages we get and they are dealt with first. If you can, say which page and which paragraph.
    • Gaps. If you searched for something about Budapest and this site did not have it, that is worth knowing. Several of the shorter guides here exist because a reader asked.
    • Image and permissions queries. Photograph credits, licensing questions, or a request to reuse something.
    • Press and research. Journalists and researchers looking for background on how the site sources its Budapest information.

    What we cannot help with

Some honest limits, so nobody waits on a reply that is not coming:

    • Bookings. This site does not sell or arrange anything. We cannot reserve a bath ticket, hold a hotel room, book a Danube cruise or change a reservation. Book those with the operator directly.
    • Bespoke itinerary planning. The itinerary guides cover one to seven days in enough detail to adapt, but we do not build personal schedules to order.
    • Visas, residency, tax and legal questions. We are a travel guide, not an authority on Hungarian immigration or law. Ask a consulate.
    • Emergencies in Budapest. This inbox is not monitored around the clock. In an emergency call 112, the pan-European emergency number, which works throughout Hungary.

Advertising, guest posts and link requests

To save everyone time: this site does not accept guest posts, paid links, sponsored placements, or “collaborations” that turn out to be paid links wearing a different coat. Nothing in the editorial content is for sale, and pitches of that kind are not replied to.

Legitimate enquiries from Budapest venues about factual details — corrected opening hours, a change of address, a new closure — are very welcome and will be treated as corrections rather than as marketing.

    A note on your details

The form asks for a name, an email address, a subject line and your message. All of it is used only to reply to you, and none of it is sold, shared, or added to a mailing list — there is no mailing list. The privacy policy sets out how contact messages are handled and how long they are kept.
